You haven't been blind since birth, so it's expected that you wouldn't be used to this. It's alright to ask for help!
[Yeah, Gau doesn't buy that either.]
It's not just that you've done a lot for me already... I also want to help you, Tsubaki-san.
[He's leading them to the kitchen- He figures that Tsubaki hasn't been able to cook by or for himself. Gau making a few already prepared meals to put into the fridge may make his life a little easier.]

I'm glad you came to that conclusion! Now, I'll make things easier for you!
[Which means putting his skills in cooking to the use, something which Gau is more than happy to do.
...This may mean that Gau is a bit overeager, which in turn means he practically yanks Tsubaki into the kitchen by the hand instead of by the arm in order to be able to carry as many things as possible at once and make this as efficient as possible.]

That's precisely why I'm choosing to make this!
[There will be an explanation, apparently...?
When they're right at the kitchen counter, Gau pulls Tsubaki's hand up and places it on the counter surface, giving him a way to ground and stabilize himself.
With that, he quickly begins the search for the rice cooker. Right, but he does need to ask something-]
What's your favorite filling for onigiri?

Then that's what we'll make!
[It helps he's a fan of salmon. BUT ANYWAY-
He plunks the located rice cooker on the counter after filling it up with water to the appropriate level.]
I figured this was something you could help with while you are blind, and we can make enough so that you have readily made food available to you when you need it!
[Something important is missing.]
Where do you keep your rice?

That's alright. It takes a while to get used to knowing where you are by touch alone!
[And he found the rice now, so he couldn't be too mad anyway.]
When I was blind, I went into Togami-san's room thinking it was the kitchen! He was very rude about it!
[NOT THAT HE'S HAS A GRUDGE OR ANYTHING.]

...!
[Not even a hint of defensiveness in that statement, only confusion. If he was a nefarious lolicon and Gau totally wasn't jumping to conclusions, then he would have at least tried to relfect the question.
Looks like he's totally innocent.]
I-It isn't anything you should be worried about, then!
[KEEPS POURING RICE UNTIL PROBABLY ALMOST OVERFLOWING.]

--Gah!
[And on cue, he noticed that he had poured enough rice to cook for a family of ten.
As he scoops some of it back into the bag-]
I'm very sure, Tsubaki-san! It's just slang! It's absolutely nothing you need to worry about or look into! I made a mistake, and I apologize for that!
[who's defensive now]
